Transformation #4- Short hipster razor cut and some feather panels

Megan came to me with a bob and old highlights that had been growing out for 6 months or so. She was really in need of an update, and ready for anything.

Her hair is fine, thick, has a little wave in it, and texturizes fabulously. I gave her a razored pixie, but left the front a bit longer to hipster it up a bit. To do this, I used a stationary design line at the crown, and brought all the hair in my top section back.

Then, I  texturized with my razor through the whole top section.

For her color, I used my feather paneling technique, with 3 colors, a dark burgundy, a bright copper, and a bold blonde.

I sectioned off 2 triangles of hair on her head, and foiled slices through the triangle starting at the top with 3 copper slices, 3 burgundy slices, and 3 blonde slices. I always like putting the brightest color at the top, and then the dark on top of the light for maximum contrast. This created bold directional featherlike color around her face that added some pop to her hipster pixie razor cut.
