The recipe uses tablespoons, but the directions use scoops. Is a scoop a tablespoon?

I used the basic recipe when I began, but soon found that I needed more baking soda. I didn’t realise my hair was oily!
Now I’ve been using regular shampoo & conditioner, thanks to travelling, but I can’t wait to start Shamphree-ing again now I have a permanent address!
I blogged about it last time here: http://itsgingefringe.wordpress.com/category/frugal-living/shamphree/
so I’ll think I do that again! Thanks Roxie for still giving us all this expertise!
