After Rya’s blue hair transformation faded out to contrasty blonde chunks, she put henna over everything and turned her faded out summer drab into a spicy autumn delight. I have seen henna make the most beautiful reds ever. When Rya’s middle daughter Janie Mae henna-ed her light brown hair, it was magnificent. The only time I used henna on my hair, it was a mess and turned green (because of the perm, not the henna:) I love this bit of DIY hair empowerment. Thanks Rya!
