Panel coloring!

Here’s Christiana. Doing her hair is really fun because she likes to experiment. She is a hair DIYer for the most part, but comes in a couple times a year for the whole shebang. This time, we bleached her, than put in some panels of purple and pink special effects color, using geometric sectioning and sliced foils to create a splash of color. When I’m making color panels, I like to have a 3 color concept. 2 contrasting colors, and a bright color to make it pop.

White and dark purple contrasted beautifully on Christiana, and pink made it pop.

So here’s the rundown. I bleached her with 30v. Then cut her into an asymmetrical shag bob with undercut choppy bangs. Then I sectioned out an obtuse triangle and sliced back to back foils all the way through it, starting with 2 pink ones at the top of the triangle, and then the rest purple. Then I sectioned out a triangle at her other sideburn and foiled purple slices all the way through. I then applied her toner to the rest of her hair.

After 15 minutes of processing, I carefully rinsed her panels thoroughly before shampooing and conditioning her whole head. That was it! so fun.
