I’m excited by the idea of feather inspired hair color. I love the colors, the textures, the contrast, the geometry, the lines and the shapes, and the irridescence of feathers. I’ve done some fun experimenting, having fun with color and thinking outside the box. Getting into my bird brain.
I have come up with a couple easy techniques for doing your own feather-color. I’m going to release these techniques as a part of a series.
The first step for feather coloring techniques is to successfully bleach out a streak to work with. This streak will be your feather. First watch this free video and learn to do an easy streak.
