Hi babes. I’ve been following this company Skinchanted on Instagram for a while. I had heard about their shampoo-alternative handmade products from a couple of fellow ShamPHree-ers who love them, so I contacted Skinchanted to see if they might offer a couple bottles for me and my readers to try.
They sent a nice little package last week, and I couldn’t wait to try their Peek-a-poo no-lather no-poo, a formula that is packed with organic and interesting hair-pampering ingredients like sapindus (soap nut!) , honeyquat, and shikakai.
I used it and found that it was extremely gentle and made my hair feel very soft. It didn’t seem to remove anything at all which I liked. I think it would be perfect for coarse-er hair-types, dry hair, and curls. Also, for anyone with scalp issues I can only assume that Peek-a-poo would be super nourishing and gentle on the scalp.
