Twisted Cross Bun for Short Hair.

brook 3Hello dears. Here is a quick little shortie twisted hairstyle, demonstrated by my sister Brook.

This hairstyle is perfect for chin to shoulder length hair, and is a great way to get your hair out of your face easily, while rocking a classy looking little hairdo’.

To begin with, you will need 5 bobby pins, and some texture spray.

Start by spraying your hair down with a light misting of sea salt/texture spray. This will help give it grip and control, and keep it from falling out!

Now section out the entire back of the head from on top of one ear, across the back of the head to the other ear. Pull all the hair in front forward and out of the way.

Take the back section, and twist it a couple of times. Wrap your twist around itself at the base, and make a nice tight bun. Pin your bun into place, and tuck the end of the twist under the bun and out of the way. Here is a closer look at twisting and pinning:)

Now, starting at the front hairline, make a center part that splits in half all the rest of the hair that was not included in your bun. Take all the hair from on side, and twist it backwards, across the back of the head, and wrap it around the far side of your bun. Tuck in the ends, and pin your twist into place with the bun.

Repeat the same steps on the other side, criss-crossing your twists and securing them into your bun. Add more pins as needed!
