Fro-Hawk with Babies Breath

Hey dears. I wanted to share this fro-hawk, and give some love to my curly haired and natural texture haired peeps.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with 2 naturally curly babes, Liz and Audrey the other day, and they let me play and shoot photos of their insanely cool big manes of hair.

Liz got fro-hawk, and we decorated it with babies breath. It looked so fierce and dainty, all at once:)

To get the look, I started by brushing out Liz’s hair really big with my Mason Pearson Brush.

Then I brushed the sides up from the temples, towards the back of her head. I used a little Liquid Gold Hair Butter to smooth it, and made sure to brush it nice and hard.

Then, starting in the center, I used bobby pins to secure the hair tightly to one side of the head.

I added more bobby pins and criss-crossed them in a half circle, to secure the hair back and define one edge of the hawk.

I repeated that on the other side, then stuck some tiny babies breath flowers straight into the base of the hawk by their stems. You can use any flowers you want!
