Recent Braid Musings

Hey Babes. Since finding myself with more time and space after the kids started back at school, I find myself falling down the braid rabbit hole. I have been spending longer periods of time on more intricate braids…..A luxury I haven’t enjoyed in years. I’m getting into it, falling deeper, and having a damn good time doing it. While I braid, I process life.

I wanted to share some of my more recent braids, and just drop in to say hi and thanks for being here:)

Also, I recently bought a little hand-written book called Knot a Book by one of my favorite fiber artists Lise Silva. The book is about the sacred art of knot tying. I have been studying and practicing, and I can see the influence of all these new knot techniques in my braids. Can you?

Featured above is the book, and a Ladder Necklace by Lise Silva.

Check the book out here, it’s really lovely.
