DIY bang trim

I have sad-bangs. It is a real thing. It’s when all the sudden your cute bangs turn on you. I’ve been growing them out for 6 months or so, working towards a feathered 70’s bang look.

There is something strange that happens to many women’s hair after they have a baby. It begins to thin a bit around the hairline. It’s got to be a hormonal shift of some sort, probably the same one that causes your hair to all the sudden change texture on you. Well, this happened to me, and I’m left with 2 inch long wispy curly weirdness under my growing out bangs, which causes very awkward things to happen. Sad face.

Basically, what has happened is that my bangs are now made up of hairs of all different lengths which makes for a nice little mess. I decided I had to reach for the scissors, not out of impulse but out of necessity.

So I gave myself a very simple DIY bang trim, in an effort to restore some order to the general chaos. I hope with this little video, I can help restore a bit of order to your life too:)

XOXO, Me
