Love for the Black Beanie.

black beanieI am lost without my black beanie in the cold months. I mean like naked, anxious, cold, and irritable without it. I practically live in it. Mine is perfectly slouchy and stretched out so it doesn’t give me hat hair. It barely even disturbs my hair at all in fact.

I can wear my hair in almost any style and works with my black beanie. That is the magic of it.

Where did I get my black beanie? The gas station. Why? because they have the best ones. They are cheaply woven, and poorly made from synthetic materials and I love them. They are just slouchy enough, and they relax over time. They are between $3-6 dollars, depending on location and inflation.

I decided to write this post to share my love, because maybe you have a special black beanie too and you know what I’m talking about.

Look at these celebs! even some of the cooler seeming celebs wear black beanies. I like Nicole Richie’s style, generally. And here she is with a black beanie! maybe she got hers from Texaco too. And even Rhianna! and I found a picture of Brad Pitt looking unusually hot with a slouchy black beanie on. I decided not to post it because it’s too cliche.

I have been wearing loose rattlesnake braids with my black beanie lately, and I’m feelin’ it. Check out this video to learn this fun braid technique.

What do you think?
