Happy DIY Hair Friday! Today is all about being classy and stylish and bored. My mantra for this hairstyle is All dressed up with nowhere to go. Because sometimes it is fun to have pretty hair and feel important even if you are stuck at home with a toddler.

This is a simple twist and pin hairstyle. You will need hair shoulder length or longer, a boar bristle brush for back combing, and a couple of bobbies.

Here is how to get this look.

Bored Socialite Twist’n’pin

Start by back-combing the top section of the hair with either a boar bristle brush or a back comb.

Now section off the sides of the hair and leave them out for now. Smooth the front of the top section into a pretty bump and then grab all the hair in the top and back section together Twist them into a bun and pin it to secure it. ( Here is how to pin a bun!)

Now take one side section and twist it tightly into a smaller bun on the side of your big bun. Pin it into place. Repeat on the other side. Now definitely arrange your bangs and lady parts.
