Hey babes. Here is a quick and simple DIY braid for shorter haired peeps, that I shot with my sister a while back.
This is a hairstyle that you can’t go wrong with, and I honestly wish to see more dudes with this ‘do in the near future. Obviously, for chicks it is a no brainer, but as a transitional hairstyle for all you Man-Buns out there???? Do it!
You will need 2 clear elastics, and several bobby pins.
Begin by spraying your hair down with a texture spray like Masterbraider, for serious grip and braid control.
Now part your hair down the center. Starting at the front hairline on one side, do a simple french braid down the back of that side. The texture spray is the key to getting those shorter hairs to stay in your braid! Trust me on this one.
Secure the end of your little braid with a clear elastic.
Now repeat on the other side.
Pull the ends of one braid over to the base of the other, and pin it discreetly underneath, securing it to the head. Pull the other braid over the first, tuck the end under the base of it, and pin it discreetly and securely.
SO easy, I feel like I shouldn’t even be telling you how to do it;)
